The Secret Garden

People usually ask for an interesting book filled with adventures. Well ''The Secret Garden'' is a book for them. This book is about a girl named Mary Lenox that moves into her uncle's castle with closed gardens around the castle. Mary starts her adventure when she finds out about a secret garden in front of the castle. To Mary, Dickon, Colin and Ben Weatherstaff this will be an adventure they will never forget, same goes for the readers.

But more about our main heroes: Mary is a 10 year old, annoying, Indian girl she is very spoiled and not many people like her around. But something like that is to expect from Mary because her parents were acting like she didn't exist and always left her to the nannies. Dickon is a very brave and loveable boy who makes friends easily and he REALLY loves animals. Dickon lives with his mother and 14 other children and their life is really hard. Colin is a closed and  poiled boy that, like Mary, only thinks about himself. But still he is very lonely and he is always in the castle because of his father who is scared for him.

I suggest that you read this book because it will really show you some beautiful places and the story is warm and nice. Also the book is made in an old way that makes it even better. Read the book and also a warning, when you start you won't be able to stop.

Review of The Reven

In this article I will show a review/summary of Edgar Allan Poe’s poem The Raven.

The poem takes place in December. A man is sitting at his chair at midnight reading a book. Suddenly he hears somebody knocking at his door. The man merely ignores the knocking and starts to daydream of his lost love Lenore. Meanwhile the knocking gets louder. Finally the man opens the door finding no one outside. Then he goes back to his seat.  Once again he hears the tapping but this time at his window. Once he opens it a Raven fly’s in. At first the man is amused with the Raven. The Raven speaks, it Sais “nevermore” (never again).  He pulls a chair in front of the strange bird asking him questions even though he knows what the answer will be. The man eventually becomes mad.

This exceptional piece of work has left a great influence on me and on most of the English speaking world. This excellent poem brings the human psyche to life in its very own way. It uses a wide range of symbols from ancient Greece. The poem offers a theme of terror with a twist of emotional happenings. It is suitable to every reader but it will especially satisfy fans of horror stories. I highly recommend this poem. However don’t be frightened by its thrilling, exiting plot. I myself have been amazed by its remarkable style of writing using symbols to explain its hidden treasures. It is thought to be one of Edgar Allan Poe’s best works. I personally agree. This poem truly has awoken the darker side of mankind’s thinking.

Bosna i Hercegovina moja domovina

Bosna i Hercegovina moja domovina

Bosna je zemlja
mojih pradjedova,
prkosna i ponosna
od davnina.

Kroz vijekove Bosna
ratovat je znala,
da bi ovom narodu
domovinu dala.

Pod pritiskom neprijatelja
nikad nije pala
hrabro „ne“ je rekla i
tu nije stala.

Bosna jeste jedna
zemlja mala,
ali bih za nju
i ja život dala.

Ovdje sam se rodila
tu ću i ostati,
drugu zemlju neću
domovinom zvati.

Moja škola

        Moja škola

Ima jedna škola draga,
draga srcu malom mom
ona mene voli jako
a ja sam ponosna u srcu svom.

Ta škola je puna đaka,
puna đaka prvaka
u njoj se puno, puno uči
zato sretna idem kući.

Zato ja svoju školu
volim i uz nju sam srcem stala,
nikad, nikad nikom nizašta
Ne bih moju školu dala.
